1. Definitions
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit this website. Scripts are pieces of code that enable the website to function properly or analyse how it is used. Tags (pixels) are invisible elements that allow information about your browsing activity to be collected. This document collectively refers to these technologies as “cookies”.
2. Categories of Cookies Used
We use three categories of cookies:
- Functional cookies: necessary for the operation of the website (shopping cart, login session, language preference). They do not require your consent and cannot be disabled, as the website would not function properly without them.
- Analytics cookies: used to measure website traffic and improve its operation. They are placed only with your consent.
- Marketing cookies: used to provide you with relevant advertising content. They are placed only with your consent.
At present, this website uses functional cookies (including those of our payment provider Stripe) and, subject to your consent, statistics cookies (Google Analytics). The complete and up-to-date list of cookies placed is provided in the register in Section 4.
3. Consent Mechanism
When you first visit the website, a banner appears at the bottom of your screen and offers three choices: Accept all, Essential only, or Preferences (to choose category by category). Functional cookies are always active; analytics and marketing cookies are placed only after your explicit consent. Refusing is as easy as accepting.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the “Manage cookies” link available in the footer of every page of the website.
If a new non-essential service is added in the future, your consent will be requested again.
4. Register of Cookies Used
The table below provides, for each cookie used on the website, the relevant service, its category, retention period and purpose. It is automatically generated from our internal register and continuously reflects the cookies actually in use — it is not reproduced in this text in order to avoid any discrepancy between the editorial content and the actual inventory.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can also configure your browser to accept, refuse or delete cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Disabling certain cookies may affect the proper functioning of the website (for example, retaining the contents of your shopping cart).
6. Your Rights
You have the same rights as those described in our Privacy Policy (access, rectification, erasure, withdrawal of consent, portability and objection), which you may exercise at any time by contacting us.
7. Supervisory Authority
The competent Swiss authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Residents of the European Economic Area may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in their country of residence.
